The golden day of the wedding is so near.

It’s time to rejoice and beat the drum.

for the lovely bride and groom of the day.

to my dear friend forever and a day.

and those fainthearted memories of the days

With them are gone the days, you meant the world to me.

Now life has made a sudden change.

with new dimensions of life to explore.

The lovely feeling of being free

is there to cheer for evermore.

Now I can see the world

with my wide open eyes.

Now I can feel the freshness

in the air dispersing as ever before

Now I can feel the peace in me

that is all which now prevails.

Now I can see my dear friend

being somebody’s for evermore.
